Open your right hand, touch your forehead with your thumb's nail between your eyebrows, and your palm is standing between your two eyes. When you close your left eye, your right eye will only see the back of your hand, and when you close your right eye, your left eye will only see the palm of your hand. This situation is an extreme example of parallax, where the apparent shift of an object happens when it is looked at from different positions.

This performance by Dong Longyue and Wang Xiaofu is a continuation of the above experiment, namely: if you open both of your eyes, your palm will begin to disappear.
